It will dissolve in alcohols, ethers, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons, but won’t dissolve in water and fatty hydrocarbons. And the solubility drops as the temperature goes high. It has the hydroscopic property at room temperature, depending on its molecular weight, and the maximum amount is up to 2%.
